The Z bayonet from Nikon has a large diameter of 55 millimeters and a short flange focal distance of just 16 millimeters. Most correctors for astrophotography have an M48 connection thread on the camera side and a working distance of 55 millimeters (distance from the connection thread to the sensor). This adapter establishes the connection. Your mirrorless Nikon Z camera is therefore automatically at the correct distance from the corrector.

This adapter has a matt black hard anodization and thus suppresses reflections. It is CNC-machined from high-quality aluminum with a perfect fit.
