Advances in glass production have made high-quality apochromates possible in the last few years for ever-widening purchasing levels. With the new Explore Scientific CarbonMark III Hex, this development has reached another climax - the color purity of this device sets new standards in this price class. The optics design achieves a poly line of 0.979 - a value which stands for the highest correction.
This small, excellent apochromate is a versatile device: the fast aperture ratio of f / 6 allows for short exposures to astrophotography, high image quality, and excellent contrast to make survey observations such as those of the North American elixir and orromed galaxy as well as sharp planet observations. The device is exceptionally light and compact - the exchange protection cap can be pushed in and the design with carbon fiber tube saves significant weight against a metal tube. State-of-the-art glasses and most careful manufacturing have resulted in telescopes, which offer the highest level of observation fun. This telescope is not only recommended as a travel telescope, but also for fast observation between and astrophotography. The high-quality 2.5 "eyepiece pull-out with 1:10 support completes the image of this all-rounder - due to the large free diameter of 65mm there is no vignetting through the eyepiece pull even with smaller diameters even with astrofotography with larger chips.
