Geoptik GP and Losmandy quick coupling / clamp (directly suitable for AZ-EQ5)

The Geoptik dovetail clamp can be easily adapted to various mounts and provides a solid clamping of dovetail bars.

Fits directly to the Skywatcher AZ-EQ5 - without an intermediate adapter (see image on the left).
Fits other mounts with a transition adapter.

Geoptik universal top plate and dovetail clamp with GP and Losmandy 3" level quick coupling.
The dovetail clamp has a flat support surface with numerous countersunk holes for easy adaptation to flat surfaces. The clamp accepts GP-level and Losmandy-level dovetail bars. The clamping is achieved via a clean surface compression.

Adaptation to Mounts
The dovetail clamp is primarily used to replace the often simple top plate on mounts.

With the optional accessory #30A057F or 30A057N, you can attach the universal top plate directly to the mount. Adapt the EQ6 mount. It replaces the original EQ6 quick release, thus maintaining optimal leverage. For the new Skywatcher AZ-EQ5 mount, you no longer need a transition plate; the clamp fits directly onto the mount.
