Baader 2" ClickLock® SCL clamp to 3.3"i – for Celestron C925- C14

• Baader 2" ClickLock SCL clamp – suitable for Celestron 9¼" HD, 11" SC/HD, 14" SC/HD, and other large SC telescopes with the large 3.3" threaded connection.
  You'll see the difference immediately! Celestron's standard adapters only have a free opening of 38 mm. With the CL-SCL clamp, you eliminate this bottleneck and can utilize the full light output of the SC system.

The Baader ClickLock (1¼" / 2") is a precisely fitting, very solid eyepiece clamp without clamping screws (!). Inserted eyepieces, CCD cameras, etc., are securely held and yet won't be scratched! With a small 20° turn, any eyepiece is clamped securely.

You'll never want to clamp (and focus) eyepieces and webcams any other way again!

Our ClickLock clamps consist of seven precision-milled components, resulting in a highly effective holding mechanism that securely holds any 1¼" / 2" eyepiece. The clamp is very complex to assemble, so the price initially seems high for a clamping device. However, considering its precision, ease of use, and stability, it's more than worth the money.

You don't have to tighten our ClickLock clamps "until the blood runs out," because the mechanical principle comes from professional mechanical engineering. This is also how the tool holder in modern CNC milling centers works. By cleverly leveraging the leverage, the tightening torque is increased many times over. The inserted object is held on three sides, as if with a keyless chuck, and can therefore no longer tilt. The following 2" Baader ClickLocks are available:

Example of a conversion from a standard 2" clamp to a 2" ClickLock clamp

The effectiveness and stability of the ClickLock mechanism have been tested for years using the 1¼" ClickLock clamp.
The 2" ClickLock system is mechanically even more robust.

A 20° rotation by lightly pressing the rotary lever is sufficient to secure all 2" accessories absolutely securely and firmly.
The heaviest load tested to date is a complete C14 with a screwed-on SCL clamp and a 2" ClickLock diagonal with a Scopos 30mm Extreme eyepiece. The C14 was lifted by the eyepiece. We expressly point out that this test setup is not recommended for reproduction.
Ratchet function - indicates the position of the clamp acoustically and haptically. This allows you to determine whether the clamp is open or closed, even in the dark and without looking.
A solid compression clamping ring made of thick-walled hard bronze retains its shape even after years of use and holds even the most expensive accessories absolutely securely without causing scratches or pressure marks.
The position of the rotary lever can be adjusted using six camera-specific slotted screws or six Allen screws with a hex key, making the CL clamps optionally usable for left- and right-handed users.
