Askar 52mm f/4 guide scope for the finder shoe
Long exposure deep sky images cannot be achieved without precise tracking and tracking control (guiding). The 52 mm f/4 guide scope enables precise tracking control via a suitable guiding camera. The guide telescope fits into standard finder shoes such as: B. from TS-Optics, GSO, Vixen or Skywatcher and does not weigh significantly more than a standard 50 mm viewfinder.
The guide scope is lightweight, compact and, above all, stable. It weighs only 630 grams. Helical focusing is used to focus, whereby the lens is adjusted like a camera lens. When the desired focus position is reached, the focus is fixed using a knurled ring. The rear part with the T2 and 1.25" mount is permanently connected to the adapter for the viewfinder shoe. This provides additional rigidity and flexibility. The image field section can be additionally adjusted using three knurled screws if an optimal guide star is located just outside of the field of the autoguider.
The guide scope is suitable for all tracking cameras with a T2 connection. For tracking cameras with a 1.25" socket, i.e. the MINI versions, a 1.25" adapter is required.
