Products description

Sun image with an H-alpha conversion

Conversion: Bresser 100/1000 refractor, which was sawed off to adapt a PST system. The capture device was the Bresser Deep Sky Full HD camera.
During image processing, I used Photoshop CS 2 (freeware, about 20 years old) to adjust the histogram and very slightly the sharpness. Since I had perfect focus, there was virtually nothing to do in terms of sharpness. I then converted the image to black and white (the camera is a color camera) and inverted it. I then colorized the image using Affinity Photo (also a slightly older version) to enhance the perception of detail. This allows you to clearly see the turbulent structures around the two sunspots AR13321 and AR13323.
Best regards,
Reinhard Pankrath
