We eagerly awaited the individual parts for our double telescope.
Now they're here...
...the unprocessed individual parts for our binocular project. The binocular prototype is taking shape: Individual parts for the double telescope / double Newtonian. These were cut from aluminum using waterjet cutting and can be anodized or painted in various colors.
Because in order to screw two telescopes together as a binocular, parallelism must be ensured. Rigid, standardized rails are ideal for this. The tubes can be inserted correctly and then individually adjusted. Afterwards, the interpupillary distance can be adjusted within a certain range.

These parts can be used for two refractors, two Newtonians, or two Maksutovs. Telescope diameters can range from 80mm to 200mm.

We are now happily continuing to work on the final implementation of the double telescope!
