TS-Optics 1.25" 2x telecentric APO Barlow and photo converter with T2 connection
The apochromatic 4-element Barlow lens is suitable for observation and photography and offers very good on-axis and field imaging for astrophotography.
Connection on the telescope side is 1.25" with filter thread for 1.25" filters Connection on the eyepiece side is 1.25" with ring clamping The Barlow lens can be divided, the Barlow element has a T2 thread and thus becomes a photo converter Focal length extension is 2x, the magnification is doubled Telecentric system with many advantages 4-element design for the best possible sharpness on the optical axis and in the field
TS 1.25" Telecentric Barlow with T2 connection The APO-Barlow from Telescope-Service is a useful addition to your accessories and is designed for both photography and observation. The Barlow can be combined with all common 1.25" eyepieces and is also suitable for high-resolution telescopes such as apochromatic refractors. The Barlow doubles the magnification and maintains the pleasant properties, such as the viewing behavior of the eyepiece. The Barlow lens Naturally offers a screw-in thread on the telescope side for mounted 1.25" filters. Eyepieces are gently fixed using a ring clamp.
Photography with the TSB2TELE Barlow: The Barlow lens can be divided into two parts. When the 1.25" adapter is unscrewed, a T2 (M42x0.75) thread is revealed. This turns the Barlow lens into a photographic converter with an extension factor of 2x and very good field sharpness thanks to the 4-element design. This makes it For example, moon and planetary photography is possible with suitable astro cameras and system cameras.
The advantages of the telecentric design: A special feature of the telecentric Barlows is the parallel light emission. The extension factor is independent of the distance of the eyepiece or camera; it always remains at 2x. With simple Barlow lenses, the factor changes depending on the distance to the Barlow element. This makes the effective focal length and magnification more predictable. What is also interesting for observation is that the telecentric design does not change the properties of the eyepiece itself. The eye distance and viewing behavior remain the same.
Connection on the telescope side: 1.25" receptacle (outside) with filter thread Eyepiece side connection: 1.25" receptacle (inside) with ring clamp Intermediate thread for photography: T2 (M42x0.75) external thread on the Barlow element Number of lenses: 4 Extension factor: 2x Compensation: Multi-coating on every glass-air surface Blackened lens edges: yes
