TS-Optics Adapter from M63x1 to M48x0.75 with 2" Filter Thread at the Telescope Side

The focal adapter fits to focusers and adapters with M63x1 internal thread and adapts to M48x0.75 - ideal connection adapter for correctors such as TSFLAT2

♦ Connection thread telescope side: M63x1 male thread

♦ Connection thread camera side: M48x0.75 male thread - length 4 mm

♦ Female thread at the telescope side: M48x0.75 female thread (2" filter thread) - length 5 mm for 2" filters or screw adaptations of correctors

♦ The optically effective overall length of the adapter without the male threads is only 3 mm.

♦ The adapter is ideally suited for screw connection of correctors if they are to be countersunk into the draw tube. In this case the optical path is 6.5 mm

♦ The adapter allows the camera-side connection of M48 accessories to the M63x1 female thread of the Riccardi 0.75x Apo-Reducer.


 

TS-Optics Adapter from M63x1 to M48 thread

This short adapter is needed wherever an M63 female thread is connected to adapters or photographic accessories. Using additional adapters you can also adapt the M63a-M48a to focusers with other connection threads. Additionally, a 2" filter can be integrated into the system, a suitable filter thread is available at the telescope side.
 

Application areas of the M63a-M48a adapter:

♦ Adaptation of M48 accessories to focusers with the M63x1 internal thread. With only 3 mm effective overall length you save valuable optical path. You can also screw in a 2" filter.

♦ Adapter to connect 2" correctors without clamps. The adapter is screwed into the focuser and the corrector is connected to the M48 female thread at the telescope side. The adapter is ideally suited to connect the TSFLAT2 corrector to the telescope. In this case the optically effective length is 6.5 mm.

♦ Short M48 adapter for the small Riccardi Reducer # RIREDM63 with screw-in possibility for 2" filters. The effective length is only 3 mm.
