Askar f/3.9 full frame reducer for FRA
The ASKAR 0.7x full-frame focal length reducer improves the focal ratio of the FRA600 from f/5.6 to f/3.9, halving the exposure time♦ The reducer provides a corrected field of view up to full format
♦ Screwing via the M68x1 thread on the focuser of the FRA600
♦ The focal length is reduced from 600 mm to 421 mm for a larger field of view
♦ Working distance 55 mm from the M48x0.75 connection thread
♦ 2" filter thread is available on the connection adapter
Askar F3.9 full-frame focal length reducer for FRA600/5.6
The new Askar FRA400 F3.9 full-frame reducer reduces the effective focal length of the telescope by a factor of 0.7x. The original f/5.6 apo becomes an f/3.9 apo. Your exposure time will be significantly shorter, reduced to about 50%. The field of view becomes significantly larger.
The reducer was designed for use with the FRA600 flatfield refractor and provides good correction with this telescope, even when full-frame sensors are used. The working distance from the M48x0.75 thread to the camera sensor is 55 mm. The camera adapter is equipped with a 2" filter thread. The reducer can also be used with other flatfieldapos from 100 mm aperture, provided they have the corrector installed in the tube and not in the focuser.
