Craft corner: Red light lamp in a highlighter case
Hello Mr. Kloss,
- 1 standard red LED, 5000 mcd, 1.9 volts, 20 mA
- 2 Aldi batteries, connected in series, i.e. 2.4 volts
- This results in a series resistor of approximately 25 ohms (the standard 27 ohms is used, which reduces the current to approximately 15 mA, but the LED brightness is really sufficient)
- 1 mini switch, here from a cheap solar garden light
- 1 LED mirror socket
... and then soldered the whole thing together and squeezed into the casing of a highlighter case
- I brought out two pins at the back for charging
Best regards,
Gerald B.
