Experience with a simple diagonal mirror and Super Plössl 32mm eyepiece on StarTravel 80/400

I'd be happy to give you some brief feedback on both articles.

The diagonal is really great and makes observing the night sky with my Skywatcher Startravel 80/400 much more enjoyable than with the Amici prism (45 degrees) that came with the telescope. Although the mirror is very inexpensive, it delivers truly razor-sharp images. In my opinion, the image quality is even noticeably better than with the prism, although I was already very satisfied with that one :). The image is brighter and richer in contrast. Another particularly positive aspect is the fact that the color fringing typical of small refractors (at higher magnifications) is reduced. Overall, I'm actually enjoying my telescope even more with the diagonal!

What applies to the diagonal also applies without reservation to the eyepiece. Observing the night sky with the eyepiece is absolutely fantastic. The images are razor-sharp, and you get a truly beautiful overview. A truly fantastic addition to my telescope.
