Experience with the ZWO ASI294MC Pro

Hello Mr. Kloss, I've now had the chance to properly test the camera for the first time and wanted to give you a quick feedback. Your advice was spot-on, as always, and I think the 294MC Pro is a good fit for my purposes (also in terms of price/performance!). Coming from an unmodified DSLR, I (naturally) chose a region rich in H-alpha, the Tulip Nebula Sh2-101 and its surroundings in Cygnus. Below are the images (“first light” of the camera, which is new to me), one of the entire field and one of a crop.

The camera works perfectly with the ASIAir; it can also be powered via the ASIAir, so only a power cable with a power adapter is needed for the ASIAir, and everything else is powered from there. The fan's operating noise is absolutely fine and "neighborhood-friendly," and it actually stops immediately when the cooling is turned off—so, in an emergency, you could still shoot without cooling if the fan were still too loud.
