Light bridges in the sunspots AR 13643 and AR 13647 on 23 April 2024

The sky was fairly cloudless, but the air movement was enormous. So, patience for the lucky imaging was key. Fortunately, I actually had time to take several shots, hoping one would turn out well. And indeed, it just happened. At least enough to show the image. I'm hoping for really good conditions that make the best possible – but who doesn't hope for that ;-)

The image beautifully shows the light bridges in the sunspots, but you can also see the air movement because some details (including the granulation, for example) don't appear precise. But it was all about the light bridges...
