Prototype of a protective cap for RASA8 with cable guide

To ensure that the camera and cables can remain on the RASA8 in the living room, we are currently developing a protective cap that makes this possible.

Here's the first step: attach the cable guide (we saved the cables for the evaluation. The C8 is a customer telescope, which we will finalize later).

 

Here, the protective cap has been attached. The rough patterns on the cap are caused by ghosting during printing. This will be eliminated in the production run.

Above, you can see the rubber cover for the cable routing.

You can now clearly see the cable routing.
