The Explore Scientific ReflexSight™ LED Projection Viewfinder combines proven functionality with versatility while offering enhanced performance features.

Looking through this viewfinder gives the appearance of multiple deep red target circles projected against the sky.

Both eyes can be used to quickly and easily adjust the desired objects in the telescope using visible stars using “star hopping”.  The Explore Scientific ReflexSight™ is a viewfinder without a magnification factor and is particularly suitable for use on amateur telescopes. The big advantage is that you can see the entire starry sky without magnification and not just a small section of the sky.

New "Multi-Dot" target circle pattern in standard circle diameters of 4.0 degrees, 2.0 degrees and 0.5 degrees, which prevents stars from being blocked in the field of view.

Projection screen size: 55 x 35 mm. Fits standard "Vixen-Style Dovetail" finder feet, allowing the user to attach this finder to almost any telescope without modifying the telescope itself. A ¼ inch x 20G thread adapter (photo tripod thread) is built into the viewfinder base, with which the viewfinder can be attached to a variety of telescopes using piggyback camera adapters with a photo tripod threaded hole.

The smooth housing without sharp corners prevents it from getting stuck. Easily accessible battery compartment. Comes complete with a cover for the optics. To operate the energy-saving LED lighting, 2 standard AAA alkaline batteries (not included) are required. The low power consumption of the LED lighting ensures a long operating time. Large, infinitely adjustable brightness controller with a smooth head and knurled, which can also be easily operated with gloves. Click switch to turn off completely. Rear-facing, tool-free, three-point knurled parallax adjustment knobs that can be easily operated even when wearing gloves. Coated lens, for maximum contrast and transmission on the projection surface.


The extremely compact design allows it to be mounted on small and light telescopes.
