Omegon Pro APO AP 108/600 Quintuplet OTA Apochromatic Refractor
Quintuplet Apochromat, flat field and 4" focuser
What is it that keeps astrophotographers motivated? It is the fascination of depicting the sky in its most beautiful colors and shapes. This works wonderfully with this Quintuplet Apochromat. A triplet lens with ED glass, an integrated flattener and a 4" focuser are the three strengths for successful astrophotos.
The advantages at a glance:
108mm Quintuplet ED-Apo with five lenses for fantastically beautiful astrophotos
Two-lens integrated corrector, with complete illumination of your full-format camera with 66mm image circle diameter
4" focuser with 1:10 reduction: Even large and heavy cameras can be focused easily and with high precision
Camera rotates 360° so you can find the right orientation
M90x1(m) thread for a permanently secure connection
M68x1(m), M54x0.75(m), M52x0.75(f), M48x0.75(m) camera adapter included
Why this optic shows more details
No more contrastless images. The Apochromat shows what is really possible: pure-color and high-contrast observations and astrophotos. The reason is a well thought-out optical design with premium ED glass for a crystal-clear image. Compared to most mirror systems, the better-defined optics allow you to see more and finer details when observing planets, for example. The lens elements have been provided with an effective multi-coating against reflections on all surfaces. Look forward to observations and recordings that will remain in your memory.
Large gear focuser with ball bearings
Full-format fans need space: That's exactly what the eyepiece focuser in gear design offers. It complements this premium optic wonderfully and offers you great illumination and images without shadowing. The hybrid technology of Crayford and gear makes it very smooth on the one hand and extremely strong on the other. A 1:10 reduction for the finest corrections completes this excerpt. It is precisely these properties that astrophotographers all over the world value.
360° rotation for the perfect image section
Object found and focused, but misaligned? At night you should save yourself the trouble of starting over and aligning an elongated object to match the sensor. The 360° rotating extension makes this task easy because it can be completed in seconds.
A solid connection
Nothing will ever slip here again: the integrated thread offers you the opportunity to firmly connect your accessories. For example, take your off-axis guider that has been optimized for full format and screw it on - as if it were an integral part of your new telescope.
CNC tube for one of the best optics
The tube of the Omegon Apo consists of a CNC-machined metal construction with a sophisticated anti-reflection system. The entire tube was lined with a velvet-like, black fabric.
Remove and secure the dew cap
The Apo's dew cap can be pulled out and fixed with a screw. It can be confiscated for transport.
