Vixen SD115S 115 / 890mm - New 2-lens SD Apochromat for full-frame cameras, multi-coated

The new Vixen SD115S is a high quality ED Apochromat with special SD glass. By installing new inner screens, the SD series is suitable for full-frame cameras. In addition, these devices offer a high light-gathering capacity and are very portable due to their low weight.

Vixen SD115S 2-lens ED Apochromat with multi-coated optics
The Vixen SD115S has special SD lens elements (Super Extra Low Dispersion) and is the largest device among the Vixen SD apochromats. These lenses are made under environmentally friendly conditions and without the use of lead. In addition, the telescope has improved inner screens, which allow the use of full-frame cameras, and thus illuminates a format of 44 mm. Despite its large opening, the SD115S is very easy to transport and therefore well suited for excursions; mobile astronomy at the highest level!

If a two-lens lens with special glasses is calculated and produced in Japan, you can be sure of excellent quality. Breathtaking sharpness and richness of detail are guaranteed with this refractor every starry night. You will not only perceive the finest color nuances on planets, but also achieve excellent results in the deep sky area - regardless of whether visually or photographically. The chromatic aberration is reduced to an imperceptible minimum, light of all wavelengths in the visual spectrum hit the focal plane exactly.

The newly developed "Dual Speed" focuser enables, thanks to the built-in micro reduction, very precise focusing in order to get the high sharpness of the lens on the chip.
