This complete telescope set with 80mm ED refractor telescope, AP mount, tripod and eyepieces contains all the necessary accessories to get started with your hobby right away.
The telescope set can be disassembled in just a few steps and is therefore ideal for travel. The apochromatic ED80Sf refractor will impress you with its color purity and high contrast.
With its bright f7.5 aperture ratio, the ED80Sf telescope meets the high demands of visual observers and astrophotographers. The optical system collects the entire spectrum of light exactly at one point and is therefore almost free of chromatic aberration. The colors are reproduced neutrally and with very high contrast. The high contrast and impressive sharpness will convince you, especially when observing the moon and planets.
You will be amazed when you look at the moon or the brighter planets and can observe the lunar craters in razor-sharp detail and with extremely high contrast. You can also look at the ringed planet Saturn or the cloud bands on Jupiter. But of course brighter deep sky objects,
such as the Orion Nebula or the Andromeda Galaxy, can also be impressively observed.
The folding mirror supplied allows you to observe without getting tired and also offers a T2 thread for connecting a camera. The telescope is safely protected from dust and transport damage in the aluminum case.

AP mount

The AP mount enables your telescope to be held securely and stably. In addition, it can be quickly adjusted to the target object using the slip clutch mechanism. This ADVANCED POLARIS mount is suitable for beginners as well as for experienced observers who want to use a lightweight travel mount. A large selection of accessories is optionally available.

Stylish design
The AP mount is characterized by an extra-smooth surface without protrusions.
Simply place your telescope on the mount and move it to your observation object without having to loosen clamps or similar.

Fast polar alignment
The slip clutches make aligning the telescope to your target object much easier, as you no longer have to search for locking clamps in the dark. With an optional polar meter (not included), you can find the celestial pole even if it is obscured by trees or houses.

Optional polar finder scope can be retrofitted
The modern polar finder scope enables a new type of polar alignment. Simply adjust the stars visible in the crosshair pattern to the true sky. This is done using 3 reference stars. The polar finder is illuminated for orientation and switches off automatically after 3 minutes to save the batteries.

Optional power supply can be retrofitted
The RA and DEC motor modules work with four AA alkaline, Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries. The RA motor module is equipped with a USB micro-B port for external power supply. For longer observations, you can use a USB power pack or car charger cable.

Optional STAR BOOK ONE controller can be retrofitted
The STAR BOOK ONE is a versatile yet easy-to-use controller that is used to track in the RA and DC axes at different speeds. The tracking options are designed for time-lapse with the sidereal speed, lunar speed, solar rate and many more. In addition, the controller offers many useful functions such as play compensation, autoguider port, PEC and the built-in red LED light. The STAR BOOK ONE controller is intended for the AP-SM mount and is an integral part of the RA motor module.

APP-TL130 tripod

The compact APP-TL130 tripod can be adjusted between 60 and 130 cm and combines the portability of the photo tripod with the strength of the astronomical telescope tripod. You can switch between rubber and metal spikes so that the floor is not damaged even when used indoors.
