The focal length reducer shortens the focal length of the flatfield apo from 490 mm to 367 mm. The field correction is maintained. The exposure times are shortened to around 56%. The shortening factor increases the field of view and makes the apo even more exciting for the large field area. Especially when working with smaller sensors, the 0.75x reducer offers a real alternative to another telescope or camera lens.
