TS 60/300 mm Quadruplet APO Astrograph

During the development of the apo, much attention was paid to a very high optical and mechanical quality. This apo has an integrated corrector element in the tube with an optimized distance to the objective. The apo is optimized for photography and astrophotography. The advantage - just focus the camera and you are automatically in the right distance for best possible sharpness over the whole field..
 

The optics of the TS 60 mm quadruplet apo:

The telescope has a 2-element objective with FPL53 as APO element. This achieves a very good chromatic correction. Even bright stars are imaged without disturbing color fringes. The 2-element corrector is integrated in the tube and provides an even sharpness over the whole field. The apo is suitable for cameras up to full-frame sensors.

The focuser of the TS 60 mm quadruplet apo:

The modern 2.5" RAP focuser offers a very high standard. The drawtube is supported by ball bearings. The adjustment itself is decoupled and takes place via a helical toothed rack. This offers highest accuracy and also allows the use of heavy cameras. The focuser offers additional interesting features:

360° rotation with locking screw

precise tilter, this allows you to optimize the apo individually to your camera, this is exciting with high resolution full frame cameras.

1:10 gear reduction for accurate focusing

Observation with the TS 60 mm quadruplet apo:

The telescope is built for photography. However, despite the tight focus position, it is also possible to observe. You can get into focus with standard 1.25" eyepieces using the following components:

TSM5475-T2 (short adapter from M54 to T2 thread)

TSZPT2 (T2 prism diagonal, the image is erected and you have a comfortable 90° view)

TST2-1-T2s (adapter with ring clamp for 1.25" eyepieces)
