MODULAR COMPUTER-CONTROLLED GOTO MOUNTING

The Sky-Watcher EQM-35 PRO Synscan Modular Equatorial Mount offers the versatility of two mounts in one! An equatorial GoTo mount and a lightweight photo mount travel mount.

In standard mode with Dec and RA axes, you can use the mount as a standard equatorial Synscan ™ computerized GoTo mount. Tracking in both axes and accessing 42,900 objects from the Synscan ™ database. The payload capacity for visual use in this configuration is an impressive 10 kg.

When traveling, you can remove the DEC axle along with the heavy counterweight bar and counterweights, which significantly reduces the weight of the instrument. In this configuration, you can use a simple 45 mm dovetail plate with tripod screw (not included) and mount your camera directly with a ball head (not included). Alternatively, a DSLR can be mounted on a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer L-rail (not included). If the Dec axis has been removed, only the RA axis will track and you can easily take photos. Now the mount works much like the StarAdventurer, only the payload is higher!

The mount head is similar to the EQ3 PRO, but has a different design and a larger performance. For example, the mount is equipped with a large RA worm wheel of 92.5 mm diameter and 180 teeth for highly accurate tracking (compared to 130 teeth for the EQ3). Also, the strength of the mount pad was increased. The result is much greater stability, higher payload capacity and less vibration.
