The powerful apochromatic refractor Askar has been specially developed for astrophotography. Here are some details:

Connecting the camera to the SQA106:
Adapters for M48x0.75, M54x0.75 and M68x1 are included on the camera side. The working distance is flexible 40-70mm (55mm recommended) from the camera connection thread. This means that all common photo adapters fit the lens and the camera is automatically at the correct distance, regardless of whether you want to adapt a DSLR, mirrorless system camera or astro camera. There is enough room for e.g. an off-axis guider, rotator, filter wheel, etc.
